Vote YES for More Soccer Fields.
Help Make Our Kids a Public Policy Priority.

San Antonio is woefully lacking when it comes to parks and recreational fields. There aren’t enough of them and the ones that we have are not well maintained. It’s more than a quality of life issue. It’s a public health issue. Studies show that children who have access to parks grow up healthier and adults who live near parks will exercise more.
Vote YES for the Parks, Recreation, Open Space & Athletics Improvements bond and $79 million will be allocated to build new community soccer fields, refurbish existing ones and purchase much needed park land. The Bond includes dollars 204 acres for Voelker Park, which is located in the most densely populated area of San Antonio; a regional sportsplex and special needs park that includes 21 soccer fields; and improvements to over 60 local and community fields and parks.
Though parks and sports are essential to our children, we want to remind you that there are also four other propositions that are critical to the City, and we ask your support on all five propositions.

Vote YES! Early voting begins April 30. Election Day is May 12.
