STX YOUTH SOCCER STATE COMPETITIONS
Each year, STX Youth Soccer hosts a series of Fall Championships and Spring Cups that are designed to provide a wide variety of competitions to best fit the skill and ability level of each individual team and group of players.
QUALIFICATION FOR 2021 SPRING CUP COMPETITIONS HAS BEEN MODIFIED DUE TO THE IMPACTS OF COVID-19 ON SOUTH TEXAS YOUTH SOCCER TEAMS AND COMPETITIONS ACROSS LOCAL MEMBER ASSOCIATION AREAS.
- STX Youth Soccer Registered Teams who participated in a STX sanctioned fall league are eligible to participate in accordance with their registration age group and league results, if available.
- STX Youth Soccer Registered Teams who were unable to participate in a STX sanctioned fall league or opted out of competition in the fall due to COVID-19 concerns will have their Spring Cup eligibility determined by the STX Competitions Committee.
US YOUTH SOCCER NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES
The US Youth Soccer National Championship Series is the country's most prestigious national youth soccer tournament, providing approximately 185,000 players on over 10,000 teams from US Youth Soccer State Associations the opportunity to showcase their soccer skills against the best competition in the nation while emphasizing teamwork, discipline and fair play.
2021 STATE CUP
The South Texas State Cup, part of the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series, is the highest level of competition in the South Texas Spring Cup Series. It is an open entry competition for top Division I teams. Top Division I teams are typically defined as teams playing in the National League, Frontier Conference or SCL. The competition is open to 11U to 19U boys and girls teams that played in a South Texas Qualifying League.
US YOUTH SOCCER NATIONAL PRESIDENTS CUP
The US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup is designed for those teams seeking additional challenges to play against teams of similar abilities for a national title. The Presidents Cup provides a progressive, competitive experience to teams that might not otherwise get the opportunity to participate in a series of unique experiences highlighting competition, camaraderie and community from the state to regional to national levels of US Youth Soccer.
Note: The US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup is a separate series of events from the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series.
2021 PRESIDENTS CUP
The South Texas Presidents Cup, part of the US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup, is an open-entry competition recommended for Division I teams not seeded into State Cup and high-level Super II teams. The competition is open to 11U to 19U boys and girls teams.
2021 DIRECTORS CUP
The South Texas Directors Cup is the third highest level of competition in the South Texas Spring Cups Series. The Directors Cup is a restricted-entry competition for 11U through 19U teams that participated in DDL White (Eastern District) or WDDOA Challenger (Western District), or lower, or Member Association Leagues. South Texas reserves the right to place teams in a different competition, dependent on their seasonal league results.
2021 SOUTH TEXAS CUP
The South Texas Cup is the fourth highest level of competition in the South Texas Spring Cups Series. The South Texas Cup is a restricted-entry competition for 11U to 19U teams that competed in D2L (Eastern District) or Member Association Leagues. South Texas reserves the right to place teams in a different competition, dependent on their seasonal league results.
